Women's Cate the Great™ Boot

Cate the greatest I have these boots in black and grey and love them. Bought the black 2 years ago but did not wear them because the winter was very mild. I put them on this year and loved them. I just went out and bought the grey so I have an option. They are warm and stylish. The higher style is best for me as I like my calf covered when out in the cold. Please keep this style ! February 11, 2013
Built-in obsolescence I've wanted these boots for years and finally bought them, but plan to return them after seeing them in person. Instead of the usual metal D-rings that Sorel typically uses, the laces are held by a little string. Over time the laces will rub on the string, causing it to fray and then break. I know because this exact issue happened to another product I have (see picture). Sorel could have easily used a sturdier method to make the boots last longer without compromising the design, like mini D-rings, but instead they will last a couple years and then break after the warranty has expired. I don't have the money to keep buying a new pair every few years, especially at this steep price. Sorels are supposed to last!Sorel, please make a boot that looks like this and lasts like a real Sorel, for those of us who want fashion AND function. These boots are great except for this huge design flaw. January 2, 2013
definite dissapointment I bought last seasons boots in August of last year (2011) and was super excited to have a nice warm pair of boots (that looked fantastic!). I was severely disappointed. My feet get cold at -6 / -10 while going on long walks...I could understand this happening while standing still, but not while going for a walk! I've tried both synthetic and wool socks and nothing has helped the cause. I have an old pair of Sorel's from the early 90's which are ugly, but incredibly warm, so when it came down to buying a new pair, Sorel was my first choice. I will definitely re-think this next year, as I don't think these will make the cut through another winter - which you would hope that a $250 boot would carry you through at least 3 seasons! The design of these are a bit flawed as well, as the loops holding the laces are fraying (one's already snapped! after one season only!!). I am not particularly hard on my boots, so I was really disappointed when this happened. And beware that the sizing runs large!!! I'm a 7, so I purchased a 7...they are a full size too big (which is odd because I've tried on a 6 and it was too small.....?). December 10, 2012
Leaky boots After a lot of research, I knew Sorel was the brand for me but I wasn't sure on the boot. After reading review after review, I decided on Cate the Great and was beyond excited. The boots arrived and they looked gorgeous, fit perfectly and were light on my feet. If you're worried about them fitting on the calf, don't be as they can be adjusted to any size - it was easy to put in jeans and ski pants (and I'm plus size)I headed off to Norway this Winter, however that's were these boots let me down. The first night, when I was in a yurt having dinner, my feet were absolutely freezing! There was probably wind chill factor of -10C however these boots were meant to keep my feet warm with temps of -32C. So I was a little surprised but they were so cute, I wasn't deterred. The next day I put on thicker socks and thought I'd struck gold. Unfortunately walking through the snow, I noticed my socks were getting wetter and wetter. It seems the boots were letting water in - in the toe and heel area. As these were the only boots I took with me, I had to wear them but it made for an uncomfortable few days.So I have now returned these with much regret. It's unfortunate as they ticked so many boxes, however the most important one it didn't tick has left me with no choice.I may have been unlucky to get a dodgy pair but I won't be sure until I either get an exchange but seeing these boots are pretty scarce online, I think I'll just end up getting a refund :(((( March 9, 2012
Cate the Great = Practical with a WOW factor! I've wanted these boots ever since I saw them last season! I was a little concerned when I read certain reviews about blister factors and how heavy they were... I found out after speaking to the store owner where I bought them that these issues were taken care of with the newer model. I usually wear size 11 but I fit perfectly in a 10 :) Yes they are a bit large at the ankle but that's fine especially when wearing a thicker sock or having to fit around a wide pant leg. The warmth factor is great for walking and they have good traction, but I do find them to be slippy on ice (that's what crampons were made for!) Oh ya and they're beautiful!!! I'd recommend these to anyone. January 27, 2012
LOVE LOVE LOVE I had been eyeing these Fabulous boots up all season and finally got them today on sale!!! I love the style and the quality is the same as the pair of sorels i bought 10 years ago. I did have to go up a size from 10 to 11 but they fit perfectly! i was so please with how wide the tongue of the shoe is as i have larger legs and with the addition of some longer laces everything is tied up right to the top and covered. If you are looking for a practical, stylish and durable winter boot this is it! January 22, 2012
Perfect snow galavanting boot! These boots are FANTASTIC... they are the perfect snow boot for galavanting in the snow! I wore pretty thin socks and they kept my feet toasty, warm and comfortable.I'm a small person, so I'm usually looking for boots that don''t look too overwhelming. They do fit slightly wide at the ankle, however, I find it perfect for stuffing the bottom of your jeans into They also go with all my winter jackets. The soles are great on ice as well. I don't find myself worrying about slipping. I highly recommend this boot!! January 22, 2012
So far, so good! I just got a pair of these last night because I had defective Caribou's, and won't get another pair for fear the same thing will happen (crack at toe letting moisture in).I am pleased with how these fit- my feet feel more comfortable, and the fit is snug but not small. They feel light for their size, and they are very warm. We had -19*C windchill this morning after a small snow storm, and I was toasty with simple cotton socks. I do find that snow builds up in the lower leather flap, but it doesn't take much to get it out. They are also easier to take off compared to the Caribou's.Very happy with my purchase! Looking forward to wearing these over the years. December 28, 2011
What an AMAZING boot. When asked, I told my husband that I wanted a pair of snow boots for xmas. He chose the brand and I chose the style. Obviously he wants nothing but the best for me. After reading all the reviews, I was convinced. I am an 8-8 1/2 and went with a size 8. This is a perfect fit. I wore these boots to the Minneapolis Holidazzle parade with my thinnest pair of socks and my feet stayed warm the entire night. Finally a SEXY warm snow boot.As for the bad reviews, if you want something that fits snug around your ankles then go buy a pair of dress boots. I also do not feel these are a clunky boot, they are a lot lighter than they look.My 7yr old had a pair of Sorel's long before I did and now I can see why she loved hers so much. Sorel, you've got me sold! We'll be Sorel gals for life. December 14, 2011
Amazing boots, and cute! I was concerned at first about buying these boots, just by reading other reviews about them being too clunky, or too big. Not true! These boots are a great fit, and they are so fun to look at! Originally I am a size 8 1/2, but I went down a half size and they fit perfect. I love my Cate the Greats! December 13, 2011
Ammmmmmazing! I was obsessed with these boots for weeks before I actually broke down and ordered them. Now I cant take them off! People complain that they are large and clunky like snowboarding boots, but I think the complete opposite! I wear mine around the house as if they are slippers. They are the first think I put on when getting out of bed in the morning and the last thing I take off before I go to sleep at night. Pair them with leggings and a over-sized comfy sweater and it definitely feels like winter time!If you are worried about size, I suggest finding somewhere that carries Sorel's so you can try them on for yourself, especially if you have never owned Sorel's before. I wear an 8 and got an 8 and they fit just fine. They may be a bit tight when I pull out my extra thick wools socks though..... But nothing to complain about. NO complaints for me as far as this boot goes!! : ) GET THEM! December 9, 2011
Awesome Boots! I bought this boot for it's combination of fashion and function! It comes to my knee which will be great for deep snow banks! Also, it's waterproof and warm! I bought my regular shoe size, which is a 7. Now, when the snow comes, I'm ready! Thank you Sorel for making such great products!P.s. I still have a pair of 30 year old Caribou boots that are still in great condition! December 7, 2011
Awesome boots these boots are amazing! Great sorel quality and finally in a design that is stylish. They do fit big though, they are very wide. If you are between sizes go down. December 5, 2011
Perfect Fit and Comfort! I ordered these on line and was worried about how they would fit as I didn't want the hassle of returning them and re-ordering again. I took out a standard ruler and measured the length of my foot. 11 inches on the nose. I ordered the Size 11's. My foot is a bit wider than most and these were a perfect fit for me. I can wear them with a thin sock as comfortably as I can with a thick sock. For those comments re the boot being "clunky"...let's face it, if you are ordering these it's because you want some serious foot warmth AND fashion some place where you get serious winters. These are not your thin suede sexy boots. But I have gotten TONS of compliments on them and my tootsies are warm, dry, and fashionable. You rock, Sorel, and Cate the Great! December 1, 2011
Love! The boots fit a little big and I wasn't sure what size to get since I am a true 7 1/2. I ended up gettting the 7 and I am very happy I did. I think the 8 would have been too big. Love the color and the style. I am super excited!! November 29, 2011
Kate the Great is Great! These boots are wonderful! They do run a little large but I read other's reviews and ordered a size smaller and they fit PERFECT! I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8 and ordered a 7. Shipping was extremely fast. November 29, 2011
Great snowy boot I live in the Sierras and was looking for a good snow boot with a high cuff. I settled on the Cate the Great and don't regret it. Love the look, as well as the neoprene cuff inside to keep snow out, as well as the style. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or a 10 in dress shoes. I ended up with a size 9 in these, and even in thick socks I have plenty of room. I would size down. Overall, very pleased. November 26, 2011
Unique and Exciting These boots are fabulous! Not only are they different but every single time I wear them almost everyone I come into contact with comments on how "beautiful" they are! These boots are warm and waterproof. When wearing, prepare for a slightly clunky feel, they don't fit tight to the foot, they are a true snow boot.. These boots look cute with just about anything, especially leggings! They do fit a bit bigger, however I am a true size 8 and i felt that the 7's were too small..so i just got the 8 and am getting used to that slightly bigger fit, but really its not a huge deal. The stitching is gorgeous and the color options are so much fun, my dark grey are a huge hit! November 25, 2011
Stylish, practical boots These boots are fantastic. Not only do they look great, but they are perfect for walking around campus on snowy Colorado days. They are super warm, and very comfortable. I'm an 8, but I would recommend sizing down. The 7s fit perfectly. November 24, 2011
Love my Sorels I love all my sorels. These are great, usually wear size 9. Got these in a 9, they are a bit roomier than my Joan of Artics which are an 8. Only design "flaw" is the flap around the bottom where snow likes to pack in and hang out. These are great for pulling on quickly, snowmobiling, walking, going to town in! November 22, 2011
Love 'em! living in Minnesota it becomes a rite of winter to find this seasons winter boots - and as a dog trainer I wear mine every day - so they must be quick on, waterproof and warm. plus I may be a dog trainer but I'm still a girl so my boots must be cute too. well, I found all of these qualities in cate the great. thanks sorel.....my dogs thank you too :) November 22, 2011
Good Boot I live in Saskatchewan so I need warm clothing. I have a 15 minute walk to work and I like these boots. I've had them for about a month now and I find the boots to be light enough for walking, warm enough for cold days (-28C with WC today and my feet were warm), yet they are stylish. November 21, 2011
Gorgeous and warm Fashion meets function. To the haters that find them heavy or bulky, welcome to a REAL winter boot. The heavy materials keep your feet warm and dry. They fit absolutely true to size in my experience. I wear a size 9 and bought a size 9. Perfect fit. I would not recommend sizing down if you wear a whole size, maybe if you normally wear a half size that would make sense. I recommend a thin wool sock like a running sock, that will avoid the chafing and rubbing cotton would bring and keep your feet drier. I love these boots! November 17, 2011
Excellent Quality but Too Small? Received these boots in a reasonable amount of time. They were excellent quality. I had read that they run large but went ahead and ordered my size (11) and figured I could always wear thicker socks if they were too roomy. To my surprise they were too small (length wise). They sat in my living room for a week before I returned them and I received half a dozen complements from family and friends without even wearing them. The return process was a little awkward because they will not exchange for a different size, they will only return and give your money back and then you can re-purchase. This causes me to pay for shipping 3 times... which was not cheap. I will be reordering these in a size 12 (although I wear size 11 in Sketchers and Dansko). November 16, 2011
AMAZING.... I absolutely love my Sorels. I got the Pewter/Black boots. They fit perfectly, I usually wear a 7 1/2 and I ordered the 7 and they fit. Their shipping is very quick. The boots look amazing with everything and are super comfortable. I cant find enough great things to say about these boots. November 9, 2011
Fits True to Size Purchased the Grey/Kettle Cate the Great Boots and LOVE them! Had a chance to try them out today (first snowfall of the year).Very warm, very dry!Originally purchased a size 9 as the reviews said they run small but trust me, if you are a half size, go bigger. I sent them back and ordered the 10.I could get into the size 9 but my toe was touching the end of the boot. I am a size 9.5 and the 10 fits great. You should have a bit of extra room in winter boots to fit heavy socks but also to create air pockets for additional warmth. Too small = cold feet November 7, 2011
True test yet to come I took this for a run-through in the freak snow/slush storm that hit NYC this weekend and they kept my warm, dry and stylish, with no slipping on sidewalks of muck. They seem to be a bit big and therefore pull my socks down around my ankles, and that will need to be remedied before I start using these for "real" commuting in blizzards and hiking in Minnesota. That said, I look forward to testing them up in -25 degrees! November 3, 2011
Got them in brown =) these are the best pair of rain boots i ever owned. i like these to0!!.l'LL be back... October 26, 2011
Great boot I currently live in California and bought these as I am about to live in Germany for the next three years, and from what I hear they have really cold winters. These boots will definitely keep my feet and legs warm! I'm looking forward to wearing them every chance that I get. They fit great with either my bare feet or with a pair of socks. A co-worker of mine, who used to live in Alaska, recommended them to me and I'm very glad she did. October 5, 2011
just didn't fit i'm usually a size 9. because these boots do run large, the 9s were just too big, even with super thick socks on; i was clomping around and the boot practically rubbed my heel raw after just 30 minutes of indoor wear because it was sliding so much. i tried the 8s, but they were too small, even with thin socks - my toes were completely crushed. interestingly, the 8 liner with the 9 boot fit really well. alas, that wasn't actually an option...i ADORE these boots. they are such high quality, beautiful especially considering the function they provide and are perfect if you live somewhere with wet below zero winters like i do.sorel, PLEASE make Cate in half sizes! or let us mix and match liners! September 4, 2011
Very comfortable I am a size 6.5 in boots. I ordered a size 6 and they fit comfortably. In fact, I still have room and might have been able to fit into a size 5.5 if they sold half sizes. These boots run a bit large which is fine because I am sure they figured we'd wear thick socks during the winter months. True in my case, although these boots are warm enough and thick socks will probably not be needed. They are very comfortable when walking or standing. I did not have any problems with the heel as some have mentioned. I recommend this winter boot to anyone who treads in the snow whether it be for a work/school commute, snow shoveling, or winter sports. It's a great boot. August 29, 2011
Boots for Winter Well, it's August here in Georgia, which means no snow to conquer, but I'll be moving to Philly to test these babies out. I'll review based on fit and indended use. They fit just right; I was going to size up to a 9.5, as I am between a 9 and a 10, but went with a 9 after reading other reviews. Enough room, but not too much. They are definitely going to be super warm. At this point, I'm wondering if they're overkill for the weather in Philly, but there is no doubt I'll be warm and dry, which is better than cold and wet. They do seem a little bulky as I was hoping for a bit more style to have them be multi-purpose. However, I believe they will become multi-purpose in my mind after I realize how awesome they truly are. And, they are going to last forever. You know when you can feel quality just by picking it up? Well, that's here in these boots. Thank you, Sorel. August 2, 2011
Adorable and functional. I *love* this boot. It's so warm (like other reviewers said, if you want it to be warm, don't put on 60 pairs of socks - one light pair or some tights will get your feet toasty). The grip is pretty amazing for most surfaces. And they're so cute! I've never worn them without getting compliments. I always bring them for my trips to the snow, and they've also worked well for cold rainy days in the Pacific Northwest. Then I can wear skirts and they're way more comfy and cute than rain boots.I did find the ankle rub the first couple times I wore them (I have muscly calves which made it hard to tighten the boots properly), but I just wrapped my ankles with tape when I was running around in them a couple of nights. I haven't a single problem since. March 14, 2011
Oh So Happy! I was super concerned about the boot's fit, having read the reviews. I measure a true size 8, but my feet a narrow and I have a high arch. Most of the reviews I read, spoke of the boot fitting large or wide. I ordered a size 8 and it definitely fits true to size, length wise. The shoe also seemed to fit the width of my foot fairly well, especially around the toes, ball, and arch of my foot. The heel does slip a bit, but I have found this to be true with every pair of winter boots I have ever owned or worn. I am hoping that as the leather breaks in, I will be able to adjust the laces tighter to provide a snugger fit around the ankle to secure my heel. I think it is important to remember that this boot is designed to be a winter boot, not a boot for fashion (though it includes many fashionable details). Therefore, it will not fit like boot for fashion. The brown is super cute, btw! March 5, 2011
Cate the Greatest!!!!! Ok- I have read every review on every site I could find on this shoe. I really wanted to be sure I was cool spending the money ordering this shoe in the mail (due to the high demand) with out trying in on in a store first. I read the reviews where women were exited when Cate arrived then begrudgingly sent her packing. I read the reviews that said she was too big, or created "cankels" rubbed the heel.. blah.. blah... blah.. I am soo glad I ignored all of the negative and focused on the positive!!!! This shoe is UNBELIEVABLY comfortable and sexy!!!!! I am so in love and cannot wait to try her out with every possible wardrobe combination I can devise! This shoe is sexy, warm, comfy and fun!!!! True to size (I wear 7.5-8 ordered a 8 and love it!!!!) Disregard all of the debbie downers you will LOVE CATE!!!!! February 17, 2011
OMG YOU HAVE TO GET THESE BOOTS!!! I was searching and searching for a really good pair of boots for these terrible NY winter days weve been having... and TADA!!! I stumbled across the Sorel brand. I have heard of Sorel and seen the polar bear symbol and frequently thought of big clunky ugly winter boots my husband wears to go ice fishing. These are definately not any of those. They are so sexy, yet functional, warm, comfortable and not ugly at all!!! I wear them with just a pair of opaque stockings( I mean thats not all I wear of course...you know what i mean LOL) and I kid you not in 15 degree weather my feet were so warm!!! I was so in love with the sorel line of womens boots I bought the Cate the great in black and the joan of arctic in hawk. They are the best boots you can ever have and I know they will last for many years to come. If you are thinking about getting them do it... YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!! February 15, 2011
Amazing... Sexy and practical I love these boots! They are sexy with a sweater dress for the city! They are rugged, warm and terrific for the farm. They clean great! They fit in the stirrups for western winter riding! Everyone complements them! Great traction in snow and ice! I tested them for 2 months before writing this review! Get them! February 14, 2011
LOVE these. I got mine a couple of months ago and I'm pretty much in love, at first I doubted their warmth, but then I tried wearing them with a thin sock and problem solved! Its been below 0 for about a week now but my feet have kept incredibly warm. I wear mine almost every day and haven't had any problems with the quality of the boots, the fur is still in good shape and none of the eyes have torn. They're the perfect boot for looking cute AND not having to worry about the snow/salt ruining your other less durable boots. February 11, 2011
Disappointed I have had Sorel Caribou (the original Canadian!) for 2 decades. I thought that I would update to a more stylish boot, and this seemed to fit the bill. I was disappointed and returned the boots. The first pair I ordered seemed small, and the felt liner bunched up. When I finally took out the liner, the foot bed was a size 7 (the boot was marked size 8) and the felt liner was a size 8. Sent those back. Tried another pair. Not impressed:The "faux fur" rubbed off on my jeans. The foot bed and sole seems too wimpy to insulate against cold pavement. They are hard to snug up at the ankle. And they just don't seem to be as well made as the original Caribou.Bottom line? Ditch fashion on cold snowy slushy days and stick with the Caribou. They are the SUV of winter boots! February 10, 2011
MUST HAVES! Fabulous!!! Actually considering buying another pair in a different color. Super comfortable, great arch support for city walking. Saying these boots are warm is an understatment. The size 7 fits great (I normally wear a 7.5) so order down. They are a bit on the bulkier side so if you are looking for a feminine boot this is not for you.... but you should know they are SO cute with leggings :) ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! February 10, 2011
Not for a winter boots I'm very disappointed with purchase. I wear these boots in addition two pairs of warm socks, but my feet are freeze after ten minutes of walking. They are not for winter. I'd return them if I could. February 7, 2011
No regrets - Winter staple for years to come I would normally never spend this much on just about anything - I'm a very frugal person that works a job I enjoy and don't get enough money for it. However, I decided since I am without a car and walking 2 miles a day, some good winter boots would be worth the investment. I wanted something both classic and stylish. I have never ordered anything online except a couple of small things in the past, so needless to say, I was very nervous and excited. I received these in late November/early December, and have worn them just about every day since then. Sometimes we can get -20 wind chills, and some parts of me were freezing, but my feet are perfectly happy in these boots. My only complaints are they definitely sag around the ankles and make a bulge, so a pair of knee high socks or two, and/or leg warmers, are necessary (which, while I'm at work in these, produces quite a lot of foot sweat). February 7, 2011
Love My Size 8 Cates!!! My new Cate The Great Boots arrived in the mail yesterday - I'm in LOVE...Three words... Sexy, WARM, Cute. I live in CT., and it's been one of the worst winters here in history. Yesterday was a good test and my Cate the Great boots passed with flying colors in warmth category!I was able to stay out all afternoon with my kids in the freezing temps and my feet were toasty warm the whole time! I didn't want to take them off when I got inside, they looked so cute with my skinny jeans tucked into them! Love the f aux fur top too.I usually wear an 8-8.5 shoe and the 8's fit perfect! A little wiggle room for a thicker sock. I did get a little "rubbing" on my Achilles (as others have mentioned) -it's a little stiff in the back heel of the boot- I put on a longer sock, and that took care of that. They are too CUTE to send back for a little heel rubbing :-) LOVE 'EM! February 5, 2011
Best Winter Boot Ever!!!! I just got these in the mail and they fit perfect! I also had a chance to test their comfort and warmth in our bitterly cold weather, whild I walked the dog. My feet stayed warm and they were comfortable to walk around in the snow.I also have to note that they're super cute and plan on wearing them just about everywhere for the remainder of winter!I would recommend these boots to anyone who wants to stay warm and look cute all at the same time! February 3, 2011
Cate the Great The boots are bulkier than what I expected...Since I use skirts in winter I thought they would look nice but not very appealing with skirts...does keep me warm. They do look great with jeans. They are a bit heavy and stiff especially behind the ankles...this is my 2nd day wearing them and expect to eventually break them in. I live in Chicago and we are getting the storm so they cam in just in time...let it snow let it snow...I got my Sorel boots! Overall I am happy with them..the quality is great and I know I will be wearing them a couple of winters. I am a mother of a 15 year old and she made it a point to let me know they fit her...so perhaps they will be passed on to her...not this year :D. February 1, 2011
great boots very warm and feel great on my feet January 29, 2011
In love I purchased these boots beginning of December, I got the tusk color and they are stunning. I wear them with tights and a black skirt and look marvi. I have had so many compliments on these boots 15 in one day, men and women saying I love your boots. I even wore them with a black sweater dress and went dancing. I may down the line, take out the faux fur and replace it with real fur from an old winter ski parka that has real fur around the hood. Or take a piece of fur from my Mom's old mink stole and put it around the cuff, I think in time the fauz fur may start to look a bit tatty. Recycle and reuse. Cheers to CAte the Great boots January 28, 2011
Do you have cankles? Then these are for you! :) As others have said, the ankle is HUGE in these boots- this happens because of where the rubber toe/sole and leather meet- rubber isn't pliable which makes it impossible to tighten the laces to a good fit in that section of the boot- I could probably fit a golfball between my ankle and the front ankle portion of the boot when it's laced up. Because it's roomy in that area, the heel of the boot slips a bit.I also feel inclined to mention that the boot sole itself doesn't run large. It's a bit wide, yes, but that's common in winter boots. I'm a true 8 and got these boots in an 8 and they fit well- my toes just meet the end of the boot. With all of this said, I looooooooove these boots. They're a bit bulky, but I expected that as they're a solid winter boot. I love them with a sweater and a thick pair of leggings- they are so, so warm and cozy on cold, snowy winter days! January 21, 2011
Cozy COZY!!!! I bought these a few days ago and just got them in the mail. I instantly pulled these on and it felt like I had slipped my feet into toaster ovens. They are so ridiculously warm! I plan on wearing them as my wedding shoes since we're getting married in Colorado in the snow during January of 2012. These will definitely keep me from freezing! I bought a size 12 (I'm an 11) because my toes hurt from in-grown toe nails (I know, yuck and ouch), but luckily the toes are big enough, mine don't rub up against the shoe at all. Some say the ankle part is too big, just for those who have large calves like myself, it fits just right. And they look super cute with everything! WOO, EXCITED!!! January 19, 2011
Love love love these boots When I first tried them on I wanted to return them because they felt really big in the ankle but I had already taken the tags off so I kept them and I am so glad I did! After wearing them a couple of times the leather soften up for a tighter fit and the laces also became more manageable. They fit perfectly with one pair of socks now. They are so versatile I wear them to the barn and after a quick rinse I can wear them to school, work, and the movies. We have had snow for the past 3 weeks and my feet have yet to get cold. BUYERS BEWARE you will get tons of compliments and everyone will want to know where you got such cute boots! January 18, 2011
