How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful but could fit better. The boots are indeed difficult to get on and off due to the lining used. I keep my laces really really loose which helps. They look great and the quality is good. I get complements about the wingtip detail in the toe and the stitching. My only complaint is that the heal has a seam that rubs against the back of my foot. It definitely needs some more padding there. January 6, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by Garbage I wore these boots for 3 days and the seam on the side started tearing. These boots are incredibly hard to get on and off. A terrible product and waste of money. December 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Looking Boot Ordered these for my fiance to have a nice looking boot/shoe that would stand up to wet and cold weather. The boot is gorgeous, wasn't too difficult to put on. We are exchanging for a 1/2 size smaller. Fiance typically wears a 9 but it was too large. December 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by bought for my husband I bought these for my husband in a 10.5 but they were so large that we ended up re-ordering in a 9. The color is beautiful and it seems like a solid boot, very unique with the wingtip detail. He hasn't been able to wear yet but he is anxious to! December 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed This is a very nice looking boot, which is also is very comfortable. Although for 230 dollars it should be designed and manufactured to last years. After three days of wearing the boots, I noticed that the molded rubber band was peeling away for the leather part of the boot. Totally unacceptable! November 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I was looking for I was looking for a waterproof boot that didn't look like a waterproof boot. It had to be all day wearable, and it had to not look out of place in the office. The Madson is a winner. The look is just formal enough to get away with, wearing either jeans or chinos, and casual enough to wear out on the town at all but the most formal places. The waterproofness of the boot is spot-on, and has been flawless during Seattle's wettest October on record. Another user noted that the lining of the boot made it difficult to put the boot on and take the boot off. Sorel must have addressed this issue, because I have no problem putting the boot on, and I mostly wear wool socks. My only complaint is that the price is just high enough that I can't justify buying another pair in another color. October 30, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Boot (With an Asterisk) It's fairly clear from the moment you pull this boot from the box that it's a high quality boot worthy of the Sorel name. Given my expectations, and after two months of wear, here are my thoughts: Pros: Quality is top notch; the external leather has worn in nicely and has that roughed-up appearance I was looking for. These boots are incredibly light and the walking comfort is absolutely fantastic. I haven't tested the "waterproof-ness" of the boot. However... Cons: There really are two serious drawbacks to this boot. The first is obvious from the moment you attempt to put the boot on. The material lining the inside of the boot adheres to socks -- all socks -- making them almost completely impossible to get on or off. Each time I have to put them on, I have to completely unlace them, wrap my fingers around the back strap, and shove for dear life. The same applies to removing them. They're the right size, trust me. But take an engineer's assessment -- the coefficients of static and kinetic friction on the inside of this boot are through the roof. Secondly, and I realize they're a waterproof boot, but there is almost no breathability to these boots at all. It's a swamp in there all day. The bottom line: Look, quality, and fit are excellent. The olympic sport required to don these boots on a daily basis may reserve them only for the strong-willed. And be prepared for stinky, sweaty feet in a matter of minutes. September 14, 2016
