Women’s 1964 Premium™ CVS Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 155.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the boots I haven't had winter boots since I was a kid, it was time for a pair. In reading other reviews of Sorel boots I noticed a lot of comments that they ran small. I normally wear a size 8 so ordered an 8.5. I feel they are quite a bit too big for my feet, especially if I am not wearing thick/warm socks. If I wear normal socks they seem a little clunky while walking around, but otherwise I love them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed by the looks I had initially purchased a pair of Joan of Arctics boots which I returned as it felt really heavy weight and I decided to go for a model that was a bit less massive. I went for the 1964 Premium CV's after reading some reviews (other small models had quite some bad reviews!) and ordered a 7.5 based on the fit charts on Sorel's website. The length is perfect however the boots feel a bit large which I guess is ok if used with some thick socks. The looks though is very disappointing as the boots look massive and while I was hoping to get some black boots these are more on the dark brownish-greyish side. I haven't tried them in the snow yet but from trying them they fell quite comfortable and warm. I've decided to keep the boots, only because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning some boots every week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everyday Boots I am very pleased with these boots. They are a great height for everyday use. I am a real estate agent and wanted something to keep my feet dry. The Joan of Arch boots didn't fit well around my ankle and generally getting my foot into that opening so I turned to a different design. Fit is very true to size. My only complaint about the design is that the liners come out when I take off the boot. It isn't ideal, but because love the fit, style and functionality, I will deal with that flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Had the Joan of Arctics for several years, never really wore them because they were cuter than they were functional. Came back looking for a lighter snow boot specifically with the wool felt liner, nothing exposed at the top to collect snow and hamper tight lacing, and not as heavy. Voila!! This boot is PERFECT! The canvas upper makes it as light as possible for a reliable snow boot, it's not quite as tall as some others so it laces better around a narrower part of your leg, and the fit was EXACT, no more having to size up or down for thermal socks, etc. I'm an 8.5 in hikers and dress boots, etc, and these in an 8.5 have just the right amount of space for a smartwool sock and a little insulating airspace, without being huge and floppy. Thanks, Sorel!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from second season buying I bought a pair of these last year and loved them so I decided to invest in a black pair recently. the quality is no where near the same, I am extremely disappointed. threads already coming undone and the black color is fading on the ankle shaft. i have only had them 2.5 weeks and they look much much older. they do keep my feet warm but don't look worth the $.will not buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color is deceiving These look very different in real life than the pictures online. The color description was black/fossil, when really, it should have just read fossil/beige. The only true black is on the back heel. I thought these were more black and white so ordered them based on that. I ended up returning these and buying another style. Otherwise these are as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Small I read the reviews, and most of them said fits true to size with extra room for thick socks. This was not the case for me. My boots came in quite small, fit well with no socks, but in the winter I like to wear thick socks so I had to send them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot. I purchased these boots for my daughter who has been in college in the super cold Northeast. They are not her first pair of Sorel Boots however they may be her favorite. She picked out the Underbrush color and has worn them almost everyday since Christmas because it keeps snowing where we live. She loves the cute style and the sturdiness of the boot. Great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm boot for public transit commute I needed a boot that I could walk to the bus in and wear all day at work as a teacher (not too much room in my backpack for an extra pair of shoes every day!), and these fit the bill. When I first put them on I thought they would be too tight, but they stretched out in just a few minutes of wearing them around my apartment. The linings are very warm - a must for commuting by foot & bus in Minneapolis! They've got a good amount of weight to them for tromping through snow & over ice, but I find them easy to wear throughout a long day of work. I love that they're a rather understated winter boot, too. Exactly what I was looking for!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wishing for better tread The boots are beautiful - I bought the underbrush colour - but would have preferred a more narrow duck toe. The inner insulation boot slips out every time I remove the boots, which is a little annoying. The tread isn't the best for winter and they're a bit clunky. My feet will slip a bit while walking in wet snow and I slipped and fell on black ice last week while wearing these. They're very warm though, I wear stockings with these boots and my feet stay warm.
