How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from breakage I was given a pair of these boots for christmas one year, and after only one season of wear, the seal between the rubber and the leather separated, causing tons of leakage. I was able to take advantage of the warranty and Sorel replaced my boot. HOWEVER the problem with the seal seems to be a part of the design, since, after only two seasons of use, my boots have once again started to separate at the same juncture. Not only that, but the actual rubber has cracked and split in multiple places (despite being cared for well, very limited salt exposure, and rinsing after use). I really wanted these boots to be a bit tougher, considering the cost. I am pretty disappointed. I just went on a winter hike yesterday, and through all the splits and cracks in the rubber, my feet got quite wet. Unfortunately the limited warranty window has passed. I highly recommend people look at different designs. It seems the cracking, splitting and separating issue are design problems stemming from a lack of basic flexibility to account for regular foot mechanics when walking. So unless you plan to only stand still wearing your boots, get a different style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sturdy warm winter boot I live high up north in Canada and it gets really cold. I wanted a warm, sturdy boot that I could spend all day outside in and not have a problem. They lived up to my expectations. They are warm and the grips on the bottom are a big help when it gets slipy. They do fit quite big though so be aware; I'm usually a size 8 I bought a 7.5 and even it's a bit big (I'd say buy down a size). I thought they would look like a total work boot, but they ended up being kind of oversized cute. All in all they are a great boot and I am very pleased (they are a little heavy but that's to be expected with a boot like this)!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose and large! These boots are only suitable for some one with extra wide feet, big chubby ankles and extremely thick calves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE these boots About 20 years ago, working while attending college, I got a job at a ski resort as a tow lift operator and my parents bought me a pair of these boots. Spending long days in the cold snow & slush at work, my feet NEVER ONCE got cold nor wet. Since then, through several life moves, I somewhere lost my original pair. Since then, I've tried multiple different winter boots that I thought might have been comparable. I was wrong. When I opened the box containing the pair I just purchased, and put them on, my feet were instantly cradled in the same cozy warmth. There are NO OTHER BOOTS to compare with these. I will wear these until they fall off my feet in shreds and then I will again replace with these same boots -- NEVER again straying from the best winter boots!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from seems bulky The boots are extremely bulky and fit big. Quality seems excellent. Boots felt excellent on, very soft inside.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The rubber cracks These are nice looking boots and they are warm. However, on the third winter with these, the sides of the boots where they crease when you bend your feet, split open. For the price, they really should have lasted longer. They were worn for about 8 months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot, too heavy These boots are good for serious snow conditions. They are pretty heavy and a bit difficult to walk in. Perhaps things would be easier if the weather were more serious consistently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too big I love this boot but it is a size to large. I usually take a women's size 9 and I should of ordered a size 8. I can deal with it because I put on a heavier sock than I would like but other than that they are wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, sturdy, runs big Love this boot. Hiking, snowshoeing it's perfect, and excellent traction (recent ice Storm proved that). I should have bought a half size down though, this is big even with thick socks. Overall this is a perfect boot. Lining very nice too. Hits well in mid calf for tucking in or leaving pants out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Caribou boot I am so disappointed with these boots. They protect against cold weather and snow, but they are way too big and way too bulky. I hate wearing them because it feels like my feet are going to slide right out of them. I would have exchanged them if I knew return was within 60 days. They are huge and very uncomfortable.
