How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Qualité J'ai acheté ces bottes il y a environ 3 ans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great classic Boot! This pair replaced my beloved caribou boots that were over 25 years old! They're my favourite winter boot! They are a little heavy, (I haven't done a long walk with them yet), but I love the heavy duty construction and the sole - I tend to fall easily, especially on ice, so the materials and width of the sole is very important to me. I usually just tie the laces midway so I can slip into them. I only wish that they were available with the wool inner felt pack, as my feet tend to sweat. I have really large calves and was concerned that they would be too tight, but it's not an issue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Institutional User I have about 50 pair of them and use them for snowshoeing trips. Warm, comfortable, easy to get on and off, and very, very durable. I've had other boots, but none hold up like the Caribou. I don't use them to drive. They're too big for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boots to go! I have always loved Sorel's. They are made to be able to get out there in the worst weather. I could have used a half size large to accommodate thicker socks. But don't be mistaken the size was true to my foot size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them I bought these two years ago and I wore the heck out of them. Ordering them again because they got stolen out of my truck. Perfect if you're outdoorsy-- ice fishing, snow shoeing, perfect for before and after skiing because they come on and off easy, hold their shape, and still cute! Other reviews are saying they are too bulky and I agree they are bulky if you are looking for something lighter but if you need something that will make your feet nice and toasty during snow activities, they are worth the money x10! I'm usually a 7.5 and fit in a 7 with normal snow socks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from breakage I was given a pair of these boots for christmas one year, and after only one season of wear, the seal between the rubber and the leather separated, causing tons of leakage. I was able to take advantage of the warranty and Sorel replaced my boot. HOWEVER the problem with the seal seems to be a part of the design, since, after only two seasons of use, my boots have once again started to separate at the same juncture. Not only that, but the actual rubber has cracked and split in multiple places (despite being cared for well, very limited salt exposure, and rinsing after use). I really wanted these boots to be a bit tougher, considering the cost. I am pretty disappointed. I just went on a winter hike yesterday, and through all the splits and cracks in the rubber, my feet got quite wet. Unfortunately the limited warranty window has passed. I highly recommend people look at different designs. It seems the cracking, splitting and separating issue are design problems stemming from a lack of basic flexibility to account for regular foot mechanics when walking. So unless you plan to only stand still wearing your boots, get a different style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sturdy warm winter boot I live high up north in Canada and it gets really cold. I wanted a warm, sturdy boot that I could spend all day outside in and not have a problem. They lived up to my expectations. They are warm and the grips on the bottom are a big help when it gets slipy. They do fit quite big though so be aware; I'm usually a size 8 I bought a 7.5 and even it's a bit big (I'd say buy down a size). I thought they would look like a total work boot, but they ended up being kind of oversized cute. All in all they are a great boot and I am very pleased (they are a little heavy but that's to be expected with a boot like this)!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best snow booots ever! I have owned a pair of caribou boots for several years and am ordering another pair since my basset hounds seems to love them as much as I do! They do run large and they have a very roomy toe but that allows for lots of toe movement and circulation. I also find that they are really easy to slip in and out of and sometimes I wear them without any socks because they are amazingly warm! They are quite heavy and can feel clunky initially but they are so sturdy and warm and have the best traction. I like the classic styling and the clunkiness adds to the feeling of "this is a serious winter boot". I can walk all day in them too! Very comfortable. I live on the North Shore of MA where we get quite of bit of snow as well as 20-30 degree temps often. I normally take a size 8 1/2 to 9 in a boot and these fit me well at a size 8 with plenty of toe wiggle room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose and large! These boots are only suitable for some one with extra wide feet, big chubby ankles and extremely thick calves.
