Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 131 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by horribly painful boots These boots not only fit small, they feel like they are on the wrong feet. They are horribly uncomfortable through the foot and at the ankle. I have worn them several times to try to break them in. I must wear a substantial sock in order to protect my ankles from the boot cutting into them, the material is so stiff! On top of that, my feet were freezing in these boots. Overall, the worst boots I have ever purchased. I ordered online 2 years ago when I couldn't find them in stores to try on. I kept them because I assumed they would break in. This was my first Sorel purchase, and it will be my last. I thought maybe it was just me, how could Sorel make such a terrible pair of boots and charge money for them? But reading these reviews, I know it isn't just me. I wish I had returned for a refund. Sorel, these boots truly suck! I want my money back! October 25, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't last the winter I was very disappointed in these boots! I have had good experiences in the past with Sorel and I like the look of them however the rubber on the toes started to the break after just two months of wear. October 20, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Exceptionally disappointing I purchased these for short walks in light rain during my commute. Within a week of wearing them they started to soak through around the toes. It first happened on a day when I wasn't even in the rain, there were just puddles on the ground! There is definitely a quality issue with the seams, as echoed by other reviewers. In terms of comfort, they're ok, around the same level as ballet flats, which was expected. I wouldn't recommend these for people who are looking for something to wear for extensive walking, and certainly not for people who require orthotics or substantial support. You can fit insoles in them but the design of the boot isn't really set up for them. They do run small, I'd say only purchase them if you can try them on or easily exchange them. I normally wear and 9 and had to go up to 9.5. (I tried both a 9.5 and 10). Styling is the only redeeming thing about these. I have them in the Elk, and they are really cute. If you are willing to buy them for that reason alone, then they may be worth it- but they aren't waterproof boots, as advertised. I'd say wait until they go on sale, because it really isn't fair to pay the premium for "waterproof boots" otherwise. October 20, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love these boots, but they don't last I absolutely love these boots, so cute and are great in rain. However, they did not even make it through one fall/winter without the soles wearing almost to nothing. One ripped right in the back and now water leaks in with every wear. Love them, but question buying them again due to quality. October 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too stiff at the ankle-ouch. They appear to be good quality and are so cute, but I have to wear them with thick socks to protect my ankles from having the skin rubbed off. Without socks they are so painful. Otherwise, they are fine rain shoes. October 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Soles broke - no arch support DON'T BUY THESE BOOTS! Bought them last winter and was very excited because it's so cute and all that jazz. Ordered one size up, which was a good idea, and indeed it looks great on my feet! BUT. For starters, absolutely no arch support. This was the first shoe I ever had this kind of problem with, and so far the last. Fixed it with one of those ergonomic insoles and it was okayish to go. AND THEN IT DIDN'T EVEN LAST ONE WINTER!!! I am talking about 3 months of use. BOTH soles simply tore holes by the heel, rendering it very much not waterproof anymore. My socks get completely soaked either in rain or snow. Again, first shoe I ever had this kind of problem before. I get it that this model was not meant to be a full on snow boot for the rest of my life but this is unacceptable. VERY, VERY POOR QUALITY. Do not recommend I guess? September 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Out N About I LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are a tad tight in the toes, but I'm not sure if its because I have long toes. They're so comfortable though and i wear them as much as i can! September 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Size Up Totally correct, in that I ordered a size up and it fit's perfectly. A nice waterproof shoe - excited for fall when the puddles are out! September 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by I really wanted to like these but... These were pretty much my dream boot when I saw them, so I got them right away. First off they ran small, which I expected, so that was fine. They were also really stiff around the ankle part, so much so the it was painful even when wearing socks or tucking my jeans into them. I'm wore them for a while (like a few months) to try and break them in, but that never really happened. I eventually got rid of them because they were kinda painful to wear. Also, the tounge on the right boot was kinda wonky, like it wasn't sewn properly? It was probably a fluke since all of the other pairs of sorels I have ever had were top quality. September 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits just right I looked at all the reviews and sized up a whole size. I normally wear a size 8.5 to a 9 but I didn't want to get them too small. So I looked at review after review and went for a 9.5. They came today and were too Big! I am not sure why everyone is saying they run small.. they don't. The material is stiff---which is great because they feel durable but they are sized just right. If you are going to size up only size up a half size so that you can wear them with thick socks. I had to send them back and now wait for a new pair to arrive :( But they are soon cute! September 13, 2016
