How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great winter boot I bought these boots during the boxing week sale and I'm so glad I did. Very warm boots for our now harsh winter. The only reason I did not give these boots a 5 star is the liner keeps coming out when taking off the boots. Other then that, great boots! January 19, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by Laces and snow HI, I am so so happy with my boots. I thought my toes would be warmer but I am still on the cold side. The laces are too long and never seems to stay unless I double up. Whenever I take off the boot, the whole second "sock" comes off and being they are on the shorter side, snow gets in them. My bad. I bought them online- I should have tried them on at a store. I have received compliments on the colour though! Montreal winter...over in a few months, Mel January 19, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Winter boot for very cold temperatures Very warm, good quality, not to heavy and love the colour! January 19, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by Love the look, but fit uncomfortable Having read the reviews that this boot fit small, I ordered a half-size larger and the fit was perfect. I loved the look of this boot and the beautiful plum colour. Unfortunately, I wore the boot around my house for about 15 minutes and could already feel the back rubbing and digging into my ankle. I had to return. Was so disappointed. It was also a risk ordering online, which I will not do again, because I had to pay for shipping to get them and then return shipping to return them. I lost $40 for $100 pair of boots. Makes the whole experience that much worse. Was expecting a super warm and comfortable boot based on Sorel's reputation and was sadly mislead. January 15, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stylish with Great Utility After reading several reviews online on Sorel boots I decided to order my first pair of winter boots. Anyone living in Toronto knows we need it! The reviews on size tended to vary. Without any clear direction, I decided to order my true size (7.5). My feet are on the narrow side of the 7.5 range of footwear. The boots are a little on the large side, but with a pair of woollen socks they are quite comfortable. I considered exchanging these for a smaller size but after walking around in them for a couple of days I realized this size actually prevents the boots from grazing against the back of the ankles (as many people have complained of). They are easy to put on and take off as well. They are also not very bulky so walking around in them is quite comfortable. In terms of functionality they keep my feet toasty and dry. I have walked around in these for a little under an hour and my feet have stayed warm. This range of Sorel boots come in various colors. I went with the purple and don't regret it at all. Its a good break from the typical black or brown boots, and with a pair of white socks theylook great! I highly recommend this product. With regard to size, if your feet and calves are on the narrow side order half a size down, else order your size. January 14, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Toasty Warm I recently purchased the Women's Winter Carnival Boot in Pewter (wasn't brave enough to go with the beautiful Purple Dahlia colour, but wish I had!) and these are my first pair of Sorel boots. I am impressed! Fit is true to size, though my narrow foot finds the ball of the foot/box a tad wide. For a week I walked to and from public transit in the snow (-10 degrees) and my feet were toasty warm. The one tip I would suggest is for anyone like me with a wide calf: I was lacing the boots all the way up to the top, but it causes the back of the boot to buckle inwards at the ankle which caused terrible blisters. I've worked around that by only lacing up to the second highest loops, and also wearing fitness armbands (sweatbands) around my ankles as extra padding. Works like a charm! Can't wait for it to snow again.....! January 13, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great In Cold, Bad In Snow, not waterproof these boots have been great in extremely cold weather but they are not waterproof as I realized today. I've now worn now 5 times, in dry cold they are the warmest, but now that I am walking through snow - not even puddles - the toe section of my socks are wet. this has now happened twice. I'm bringing them back to where I purchased Lord & Taylor in NYC to see if they think it's just a unique defect and will exchange them for another hopefully not defective pair. January 7, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sorel carnival boots These boots are awesome for snow! I live in Michigan and these boots are a must have for Michigan winter's!!! January 4, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fits big These boots feel very clunky when I walk. I'm usually a size 6 but wish I would've got a size lower. The whole inside of the boot comes out every time I take my foot out. It's very annoying to put the entire inside of the boot back. Overall the boots fit the purpose of winter. But they are more of a pain for me. January 4, 2017
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sorel carnival boot I bought these boots for my New Years Vacation in Banff. When I got them they felt so comfortable, the fit was perfect and good quality. I wore them during the trip and my feet stayed cozy and warm in -17 degree weather and good traction which was fabulous. I could wear one or double socks comfortably even though double is not needed to stay warm. However, after wearing the boots for two days, the back of the boots pushed/rubbed on my Achilles ankles, eventually giving me two huge bruises. I tried different socks, tying them differently but nothing worked. I couldn't put the boots on again unless I bandaged the back of my ankles which sucked because I bought these boots for the quality. I love these boots but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them due to the way the boot is designed and pushes on the back of your ankles. January 1, 2017
