Leaking
I really loved these boots early on. I had bought them for my daily walking commute - in which I encounter a decent amount of rain - and going from cheap rubber boots to these was like a dream. They took a few days to break in, but quickly became my near-daily shoes as they were SO warm and dry.
Sadly, they lasted WAY shorter than I expected them to - I bought them during the winter of 2017, and they started leaking in the summer of 2018. The rubber wore down fairly quickly, and I discovered a hole in the right heel. I only really wear them on dry days now (rare for Vancouver), but the hole has really grown to the point where I'm hanging them up.

Good until they started leaking 1 year in
Oh man I am very disappointed in these boots. Full disclosure--I'm a mid-20s petite woman who regularly shops in the kids sections, especially for winter gear like boots, coats, gloves etc. It's cheaper and typically I don't have a problem with lesser quality. Until now :(
I bought these boots hardly even a full year ago, for my first winter on the East Coast with temps as low a 10*F and a decent amount of snow, sleet (and lots of rain in the summer!). Last winter when they were brand new I had no issues--except that I should have bought a 4.5 instead of a 4.. I normally buy a boys 4/womens 6 but these were a little tight in the toe. Another issue is they weren't the most comfortable.. they felt pretty stiff and would hurt the tops of my feet if worn with too thin socks. Again, not a dealbreaker--they're not daily wear shoes for me so I didn't mind a few hours of slightly cramped feet.
However, the real dealbreaker--less than a year in and they are ALREADY LEAKING. They are leaking at the gum sole--basically where the zig zag pattern meets the blue toe of the boot... the gum part hardly covers the blue rubber, and now the seam where they meet is showing and of course, water is getting in. This is not even New England levels of snow--this is Mid-Atlantic. But leaking boots are leaking boots. It's a shame because other than that I was happy, but I do not suggest buying these for you/your kids--once that gum sole opens evens a bit where the rubber meets, water will get in. If i can't return, I guess I know what brand to go to next... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Boots
I bought these boots for myself because other reviews said that boys boots were good quality. And I have small feet and often order kids shoes. I ordered a boys size 4 and I normally wear a 5 or 6 in womens. Unfortunately these boots were very uncomfortable. The boots felt like there was a plastic core that was digging into the tops of my feet. I was sad to return them because they were super cute. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great boot for bad weather
These boots are for my 10 year old rough and tumble son. They have held up well to any wear and tear he can throw at them and they look amazing which pleases mom. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A steal for women with small feet!
As a woman with size 7-7 1/2 feet, these boots in the boys size 6 were perfect! They are very cute, well made, and fit wonderfully with just enough room for cozy socks. Plus, they are significantly cheaper than the women's version and have a lower heel (which is an added bonus for me, but it is something to keep in mind while comparing your options). I tried to make a similar purchase last year, but I picked the girls version of these kids boots and the quality was much worse for some reason. I feel like I frequently find that men's products are built to last (instead of being fast fashion) so maybe that is just the case here as well. Anyways I love the boots and would definitely recommend them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
