How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Husband loves them Bought them for my husband and at first I was worried because they looked so large, but they fit perfectly. He just finds them different to drive in, but other than that he loves them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caribou Sizing My husband loves these boots! Says there super warm and comfortable. He usually is a 12 but the 12 was to small. Ordered a 13 there a little roomy but he kept them. To bad these boots don't come 12 1/2 as they would have fit perfect, he said.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorel Caribou Not Waterproof I recently replaced my very old Sorels, and they were a great boot (light, warm and dry) for decades. Unfortunately the new Sorel Caribou boot I bought are not waterproof as advertised. Before the first use, I applied a waterproofing leather conditioner (recommended by the retailer), and although I've only used them three times, they leak at the seam. I was not in deep snow either, only 2-3 inches. Wet feet are not warm feet. Very disappointed and will try additional waterproofing or attempt to return the boots. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracks on side where boot creases. I also noticed this year one boot has cracks where the boot creases. The boots look brand new with moderate use but unfortunately one boot will leak now Poor quality rubber. Funny how the right boot is the only one that is cracked. I had a pair of different brand from 20 years ago they are still holding up after getting beat up. They have no tread left and that’s all the wear someone could expect from a quality product. Rated 1 out of 5 by from cracked rubber After 4 seasons of light-to-moderate use the rubber developed cracks where the toe box creases on each boot. I can see other micro-cracks forming in other areas of the rubber. I expect much better quality from Sorrel. My similarly designed LLBean boots lasted for over 20 years without cracking. I chose the Sorrel's this time due to the heavier, better gripping soles, but it wasn't worth it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE My husband is in love with these boots. He was looking for a cold weather boot and I talked him into trying these. He's glad he listened to me (for once). He wanted to buy a size bigger so he could wear extra socks but I convinced him to buy his regular size telling him he wouldn't need extra socks (of course I was right again). These are great cold-weather boots. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 45 Years & Still Going Strong I really splurged to get a pair of these in about 1973 to use for deer hunting. Since then I've used them every year for this, and also to get to and from work and for doing other running around during times of heavy snows. So I don't use them until conditions really call for them, which is probably one reason why they've lasted this long. I have finally worn out the original liners now, and am ordering a new set, but other than that, the only fail is that the pull loop on the back of one of the boots has broken. Even with the thick liner, I do usually use the chemical toe warmers on really cold days when sitting on a deer stand for hours, and that's fine. One smart thing I did do originally was to deliberately buy one size larger than I need so that I can wear an extra set of heavy wool socks with the boots, and still have some wiggle room for my toes. Also, I purchased them in a local boot store, and was able to try them on before I bought them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All my boys live in their Sorel boots I have a house full of boys who love winter. They are often outside in the snow either shoveling, chopping wood, walking dogs, hunting or throwing snowballs! The only boot they will wear are Sorels. Thank you for keeping my boys warm! Rated 5 out of 5 by from BOOTS 35+ YEARS OLD What can I say? My Caribou boots are 35 yrs plus old. I started wearing these boots somewhere between 8-10 yrs old and now I'm in my mid 40's looking for a new pair. For the first 10 yrs of owning the boots I used mink oil 2-3 times. The craftsmanship is EXCELLENT. After all these years I replaced the liners 3x. The leather that holds the rings for lacing the boots finally gave out after all these years (these are the only things that need repair). In all these years my feet never got wet. WOW!! The only 2 faults I can see in the boot are these 2 things: You need to try the boot on in store before ordering (boot size and feet size were very different). The second fault is warmth. The wool liners did not keep my feet warm in Minnesota winters (depending on activities or temp I always used a warmer and shoved it down into my boot). The only real issue was the warmth. If you know that your going to be outside for an extended period and/or on the ice your going to have to do something to keep your feet warm (several layers of sox and/or a warmer). After all these years I am now looking for another pair. I would like to try one of the pairs like the 1964 or the Pac boots but the Caribou are tried and tested. If anything lasts 30 years you would be dumb not to buy the same thing again. Sorel puts out an excellent product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
