The best boot ever
I purchase the Sorel boot probably twenty years ago. I wouldn't wear any other brand this boot has never failed me always keeping me warm and dry through some pretty hard Winters. But recently I decided I wanted a size nine instead of a size 8 and I couldn't be happier I gave my size eight to a friend there like brand new He couldn't be more impressed and wished he had bought some sooner. THANKS sorel for making my winters so warm and dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rubber cracks after a year - do not buy
These were warm, down to -35 C, until the rubber failed after one year of light use. I bought them to keep me warm while taking my dog to the dog park. After one season of light use the rubber on the top of the boot has cracked all the way through, causing my feet to get wet as snow gets in. It's a shame, as the boots look brand new all over, with next to no tread wear. Apparently this is a problem since they outsourced their production to China? Read reviews elsewhere for more realistic feedback - I wish I read the reviews on MEC which universally report into this rubber cracking problem. Expensive purchase for way too soon of failure!

Back Again
I owned these same boots in Colorado 30 years ago and when moving to Australia I had to part ways with them. I just bought a new pair and went on a snowy mountain hike to try them out. Water proof and warm with great traction! When I removed them my feet felt like I just left a spa! These are the last pair of boots I will ever have to buy! Thank You Sorel!

Reliable classic
Parents Caribou are still going strong after 15+ years, now our teenager needed a new pair of snow boots. Very cool in the black/dark stone color. Thus far all the Sorel boots we had could be relied upon to keep our kids feet warm in the worst of conditions, looking forward to getting these tested in the snow.

The only boots you will ever need
I bought these boots for my wife I own a pair of bighorns that I have had for 15 years. The minute she put them on she said the were the warmest most comfortable boots now to get my daughter a pair

Excellent boots
While I have not yet had the opportunity to test them in Wyoming winter, I have tested them in Houston during a 3" an hour rainstorm and they are waterproof and way too warm for October!

Read this before purchase! False advertising
Apparently Sorel no longer offers the Caribou in the Bruno colour. I recently placed an order for a pair of the Caribou boots in Bruno and what showed up was the exact style of the black/ beige boot in a dark brown colour. When I called customer service and asked why I received these boots they told me that this was the updated style and they are no longer offering the boots showed in the first picture. They said they will be updating the picture in the near future. Disappointing to say the least. See picture attached.

What a boot!
After looking for a high-quality good-looking boot I settled with the Sorel Caribou. The fit and comfort pales in comparison to other boots I tried. The waterproof seam sealed was a must when shopping here in Lake Tahoe but what makes this boot great is the ability to remove and wash the removable ThermoPlus™ felt inner liner and the looks can’t be beat. Watch how you will catch others looking at your boots they are eye-catchers. Richard
