Men’s Caribou™ Wool Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 247.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hugely Disappointed I have always worn Sorel Boots. For over 45 years they have been my go to boot when the weather is extremely cold and accumulating snows are forecasted. Been using these boots for all my hunting trips when your gear is most important for your comfort and success. I was hugely disappointed as after ordering two pairs of Caribou wool boots at two different sizes 9.5 and 10, the 9.5's one boot felt larger then the other. Upon further inspection I noticed that the left boot without the liner in had some raised rubber defects most likely contributing to the fit issue. The rubber appears to be poorly clued at the seems and is not a molded one piece and is also not steel shank rubber. Where the leather becomes one with the rubber there were raised areas that will quickly lead to decay of the overall boot. There seems to be a poor and lack of attention to detail in quality and the use of cheaper materials overall. Hence this is an imported boot and is intended for maximum production and profit. It is surely not the Sorel's from its earlier inception. Missing the Kaufman manufacturing out of Canada. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caribou Wool Boots I'll start with FIT. I'm a 10 in most shoes, 10.5 in some shoes, and went with a 9.5 cuz most people said they run very large. DON'T listen to these people. The 9.5 was too snug, I sent back for a 10 and that fits perfect. This is a huge boot on the outside, but not so much on the inside. Remember there's a liner boot inside the outside boot plus most people will have a heavy sock on. How some people say 1-2 sizes smaller fits is beyond me. They must have their regular size wrong and are wearing a larger size shoe than they should. Unless you plan on wearing this boot without the liner or without socks I STRONGLY recommend you order your true size. But you could go a half size up or down (max) depending on your foot and how you'd like it to fit. For some reason the 9.5 slipped on and off easier than the larger 10, but the 10 still goes on easy and comes off okay. They are a big heavy boot, so if you want a boot to work in all day everyday or for extra long hikes I'd recommend one of Sorels lighter and smaller models. They're very comfortable and warm. Quality looks great (but like most things they don't make em like they used to) I can't comment on durability as I've only had them a month. Overall a very comfortable, warm, stylish boot and I'd recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot, but runs large Love these boots! Super comfortable and very warm. Can’t comment on durability yet as I haven’t owned them very long. I originally ordered a size 10 to match my shoe size and they were way too big. I exchanged them for a size 9 and they fit perfectly with enough room for thick winter socks. Definitely size down one size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Quintessential Winter Boot Before purchasing these boots I hadn’t had a pair of winter boots since I was a kid. I had just been wearing my insulated hunting boots whenever I needed to keep warm outdoors. I decided to get these to save wear and tear on my expensive hunting boots and it was a great decision. These boots are excellent!! I received them just as the weather in MN took a sub-zero turn. Whether out shoveling snow or just running errands on cold days, my feet stay perfectly toasty no matter the conditions. The tobacco colored leather is very nice and gives them a classic look I remember from Sorel boots I had as a child and the wool liners are the fantastic...nothing beats wool! I’ve had numerous compliments on them already when wearing in public and would recommend them to anyone. They do seem to run a little large, which is actually nice to accommodate heavy socks. Very pleased with them...I only wish I hadn’t waited so long to get them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stop thinking about it and buy these I stewed and thought about buying these for an entire season. I finally bought them. I am totally satified and I feel these are worth every penny I paid for them. My advise to anyone whose keeps looking at these and thinking about buying them is—just but them! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for This boot is warm in below-zero temps, well-constructed. I like the fact that you can take the liners out to dry if necessary. Bought a 1/2 size bigger to accommodate thicker winter socks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
