These boots are the WORST
I have not regretted a purchase this much in years. I don't remember the last time I was so disappointed in a product, especially for how much I paid for these. These boots are nicely lined on the leg portion but the foot area is barely lined at all! I ended up with very cold feet the few times I wore them. They are also NOT waterproof, despite having the word waterproof stamped on their base. My boots didn't have any holes, they just let water seep in. This is just from walking through the snow, not in some kind of torrential rainstorm. Total waste of money. I had heard Sorel was a solid company but I won't be purchasing from them again.

I am not impressed with these at all! I have walked through the snow, gotten in my car and my feet were freezing. If the box said they were good to -25 degrees =, why did this happen.
So last Friday, I spent a few hours inside a large building with no heat. For about 30 minutes of those 2 hours, I was walking on 4 feet of ice. When I got home I discovered my feet were on their way to frost bite. I took my boots and 3 pair of socks off and I couldn't feel my toes and it felt like I was walking on pads. Then I got into the shower and noticed the tips of my toes were white and the sides of my feet were bright red.
I would not trust these boots to walk outside in snow or extreme cold. I'm very upset I spent $140 on a low quality product.

Excellent Boot with Style
I was a bit leery of these boots thinking that the stiff rubber bottom would make it difficult drive or be my feet wouldn't be able to keep warm enough. But these boots proved me wrong. My feet have stayed dry and warm even with regular socks on (I normally wear wool.) It has been a very cold winter and it's the first time my feet have stayed dry all winter long. Plus, I am always getting complimented on how nice they look.

Warm and dry
I don't agree with the negative revues of this boot. I bought these the end of October 2013 and I have been wearing from the first snow. My feet are warm and dry as I wait for bus to take me to work. I also have a dog that I walk frequently throughout the day.
I highly recommend these boots, very happy with this purchase.

Hole in my boot, hole in my wallet
"Poor" is not a low enough rating for the quality of these incredibly disappointing boots. I live in Montreal and thought I was investing in a good pair of winter boots when I bought these. I could not have been more wrong. Although they looked alright and seemed to have good tread, I owned them for less than two weeks before I started noticing that my toes were getting wet when I was outside for less than 5 minutes. Also, these boots were rubbish at keeping out the cold - my feet were constantly freezing. To make matters even worse, they rubbed the back of my ankles until I got blisters. Waste of time and money, since I ended up returning mine.

Tivoli High Boot
I really love these boots. They same very flexible and warm. Unfortunately I found them to be slightly too large for me. I typically wear a 7.5 shoe. After reading other reviews on how they run true to size I purchased the 7.5's. Walking around in my house with them on caused my feet to cramp (I think because of the size). It seems that most people did not have this issue so I don't know that I would recommend purchasing them in a 1/2 size smaller.
Sadly I will be sending my pair back but will reorder them in a smaller size when they are restocked.

Dry but Could Be Warmer
I was pleased that the product I bought was 'true to size'. The reviews that said to go "up" a bit in size were right on the mark. The boots fit very well and are very comfortable. They are dry and walk well in the snow and ice we've been having. They are very easy to get on and reasonably easy to get off. I like that there's a lot of lace to loosen and the boot comes off nicely. The leg of the boots are very flexible which helps on removing them easily. I've been wearing them in all sorts of conditions since I received them with different weight socks. The boots are not quite as warm as I'd hoped (but I tend to get cold feet a lot). Given the extremely low temperatures we've been having, I don't know whether that can be alleviated but warmer and thicker socks will certainly fit into them. I find I need to take them off indoors as feet will become overheated. I can easily have pant legs inside the boots and that keeps the snow out and the bottom of legs warm and dry. And the boots look great!

Sorel quality has gone south
I had an older pair of Sorel boots that had a thicker sole, shorter and not as stylish as the newer styles. I was lookinng for new, taller, stylish pair. When I purchased these they were not so bad until the temps dropped in January. On a warmer day of -9, I was standing at a bus stop for a bit I started feeling the cold coming through and I was wearing wool socks, and thinking "how can Sorel say these are waterproof and good for temps to -40 when my feet are starting to get cold". My heavens you would end up with frost bite long before it reached anything close to -40. My older pair from 6 years ago may not be as stylish, but they are much better then these boots. I expect much better quality from Sorel and your feet are suppose to start freezing in something that says waterproof. I will never purchase another pair of Sorel's again after this very disappointing purchase.

If you want warm feet, these are not the boots for you
Awful. Freezing cold feet. I bought these because for me the fit was better than the Joan of Arctic. While they fit and are comfortable they are FAR from warm. Good lord my rain boots are as warm as these are so when I spent $170 plus tax, excuse me for thinking I would get a decent winter boot! Not the case, sorry sorel, but what are you thinking???? These boots look and feel (comfort) great, but hello, I live in Canada. We have snow here and these boots are NOT even close to being warm. So disappointed!!!!

It's difficult buying anything for daughters, but this mom hit it out of the park with these Sorels! My daughter is 23 and lives in a snowy, cold, wet state. She loves wearing her jeans tucked in her boots and these look great. They are warm and handle mud, snow, water without problems. Easy care too, no special products needed.

Perfect fit, toasty toes
I wear a size 8 in regular shoes and ordered an 8 in these and it is a perfect fit. I wear regular socks with them, not thick or chunky ones and my feet are warm and dry. I live in Philadelphia and so far this winter we have received almost 3 feet of snow. I bought these a few weeks ago after my old boots finally died and these are awesome! I don't slide in ice and my feet stay dry in slush. They fit my calves and ankles perfectly. I tie them tight, like ice skates, and they don't rub my heels or make my socks slip off.

I'm quite pleased with my tan Sorel Tivoli high boots. They are stylish and go with everything. I've received several compliments. I wore them recently in our 'polar vortex' weather, and with socks, my feet were warm and dry. I do wish this style had the insert with more fur sticking out like other models, but oh well...

Something to keep your feet warm during the polar vortex!
I live in Chicago and this winter has been particularly brutal. For the most part I was wearing Hunters with fleece liners. They worked ok, but rubber obviously doesn't keep your feet very warm. I ordered these originally during the polar vortex when it was -50 with windchill. The first pair I ordered were a tad tight in the toes, unfortunately. I wear a 9 in Chuck Taylors and I had read that these were pretty true to size. I felt it would be better if I got a 9.5, which I also wear in certain shoe types. Just received them yesterday (in time for more insane weather) and so far they've been great! Granted, I've only worn them to work this morning, but I already love them!
So if you normally can wear two different sizes depending on the shoe, go with the next half size up (then you'll have room for some thick socks too).

Like walking on a warm cloud
I live in central Illinois where the winters can get very cold - today is 9 degrees F. After owning a pair of good quality waterproof winter boots that were not warm enough for the past 9 or 10 years, I decided it was time to stop putting up with cold toes after long walks in the snow or my former Chicago commute. After reading a lot of reviews and articles on winter boots, I purchased the Tivoli High Boot. I was very happy with decision because the boots are even better than I had expected. The soft wool lining goes all the way down in the boot and feels like you are walking on a warm cloud or in slippers. The design of the boot conforms to my feet much better than other waterproof boots, so these don't feel clunky as I walk. The laces are very easy to pull tight quickly, so you are not fiddling with your boot laces every time you put them on.
So far, I have been wearing normal socks on "warm days" in the 30's and thick wool socks on days in the teens or single digits. I've yet to have cold toes.
I have a slightly narrow foot that runs between a 10.5 and 11 usually. I ordered the 11, which fits very nice and still gives room for a thick pair of socks for me.

Perfect!
I love these boots! The size is definitely true. I am a seamstress. I wanted a pair of boots that would be light enough to wear all day while sewing, yet keep my feet toasty when I walk at lunch time. these boots do the trick. I sew in them all day,and my feet don't hurt or get sweaty. When I go out at lunch and walk around the building, my feet stay warm and dry. I will definitely fill my closet floor with Sorel boots.

Just what I was looking for!
Before purchasing the Tivoli High Boot, I had ordered the Fancy Tall Boot - which was lovely, but definitely had more room in the ankle area, even though it felt like the toe box was tighter than the Tivoli. I was a little worried about the fact that the Fancy Tall was just a zip up boot and, since we can get quite a bit of snow here in Colorado, I wanted to have the ability to tightly cinch whatever boots I purchased to make sure no snow would get in. I have had the Sorel Caribou's for almost 20 years and my feet have NEVER been cold and the quality of the boot is still as if it was just purchased. I was just wanting something a bit lighter in weight as the Caribou's are pretty heavy. I haven't been able to put the Tivoli's through a true test of our winter weather as it's been relatively mild since receiving them. I'm sure, just due to Sorel's reputation, that the -25 rating will be perfect (Caribou is -40) for our winters here along the Front Range. Definitely recommend these! Bought a size 8 and these feel true to size, even with a thicker sock (although I don't usually wear very thick ones). Also like the look, bought the Curry, so pretty close to my original Caribou's, kinda retro. Hope this helps!

great boot, definitely worth the money!
So far, I LOVE the boots... definitely keeps the feet warm. I got a half size larger because I wasn't sure how it would fit; especially with thicker socks. I haven't had to wear thick socks yet, and I've noticed that the top of the boot around my ankle tends to collapse because there's no support. (Means that it definitely runs true to size.) too late for me to return, I got my boots just one day before a snow storm, perfect timing, I needed them! The boots are not great on ice though. You definitely slip, but the pictures don't lie, you can see based on the tread they aren't good for ice. But they are good in snow! The tag on the boot said it was impermeable, and that was true too! Definitely worth the money, can't complain except for the minor details. I've already received compliments from people just for the look too. This was by far, the best choice I made regarding a purchase. I knew I needed really good snow boots, after past experience with terrible ones, and I was happy I picked Sorels.

NOT WATERPROOF/WARM--DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
I waited for months to buy these boots and finally got them for Christmas 2013...
My socks are constantly wet, and subsequently, my feet are always freezing. Paid $170 plus tax for these to be waterproof and warm and they definitely are neither. I'm really disappointed because I thought Sorel was a quality boot for winter.
Dont waste your money on these. The fit and style is great. But whats the point if your toes constantly feel numb.

Sorel Tivoli
As much as I like the aesthetics of the Tivoli, unfortunately I found on my trip to Colorado that they are not very warm nor waterproof. Even though I was mainly in the main areas of town and the ski resorts, my socks were always wet and cold by the time I got home. Thank goodness it was never colder than the low 20s while I was there or I am sure I would have gotten frostbite!
Also, even though I was wearing tall socks, the heel of the boot bent in so much that I have sores from where it rubbed on my ankle.

Cute and Functional
I really like these -- they keep my feet dry and warm, have a very grippy sole for walking over icy patches, and are quite cute either with jeans tucked in or with a skirt and sweater tights.
I usually wear a 6-6.5 and got these in a 6. They fit well with tights and with thick socks.

Performs as advertised
Completely satisfied thus far with the quality of this product. My daughter goes to college in a very snowy location, and unnamed Australian boots look good, but don't keep her feet warm and dry like these do. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive them on Christmas Eve while she was out. She knew they were coming, but I was able to get them wrapped and under the tree in time for Christmas morning. Nice surprise for her.

Warm, durable boot
I researched a long time to find a boot that would keep my feet, especially my toes, warm and dry in cold weather (-10 below, etc). This boot has proven to do both. And they are stylish which is a bonus. I order half a size up in order to wear heavy wool socks and they seem to be true to size. Highly recommend these boots and any Sorel product.

Best Winter boots yet
After many days of cold wet toes, I decided it was time to replace the old boots and find a new pair. These boots had great reviews all over the internet and with the Sorel name backing them up I felt confident in my decision. They arrived on a day when it was 6 degrees outside and 6 inches of snow had accumulated overnight. When I took a walk my feet were the warmest part of my body, they stayed dry and warm and the traction on the bottoms of the shoes kept me from slipping. They are also comfortable for driving, which can be hard to find in a weather proof boot. All in all, I am recommending this product like crazy to my friends and I am very glad I have them.

Just Okay
This boot in curry is really cute looking until it's on your feet. While the boot does fit, the way it hugs your ankle area is incredibly awkward and looks a little odd. I bought these instead of the Joan of Arctic and they are not a good replacement. I've owned a pair of Sorel boots before in a different style and they were better made, more durable, warmer, and fit my entire foot better.
While these boots are definitely slimmer and less clunky, they are more fashionable than practical and not worth the high price.

Love these boots!!
These boots were exactly what I was looking for: something a little stylish, but looks like the original Sorel still, and is FUNCTIONAL. I absolutely love them and I get comments from everyone. They are VERY WARM and VERY COMFORTABLE. I have good traction on the ice and snow in Colorado, and they are very easy to put on. If I don't feel like tying up the laces, I can just wear the boots and the laces don't drag down if I don't tie them. I am completely satisfied and will continue to purchase Sorel boots in the future!

Great Winter Boot- Fashionable and Functional
I live in Chicago and walk A LOT, so a good winter boot is a must for me. I've always loved how comfortable and warm my Uggs were, but after long walks my feet would end up soaked and it would take days for them to dry.
After years of searching for a boot that was comfortable, warm, stylish and water resistant- I found these and I couldn't be any happier with my purchase.
I'm a true size 8 and they fit really well- snug but enough room for a thicker sock on cold days. I had bought Sorels in the past and returned them due to sizing issues- but other reviews prompted me to order my size and I'm glad I did. The height on these boots are great- they're easy to lace up and provide extra warmth to my legs. And so far, no issues with the boot lining moving or bunching up. I was a little nervous that the rubber would be heavy on the top of my foot and uncomfortable for extended time- but the boot is quite light and I haven't had any issues with discomfort. Love them!

Perfect Winter Boots
These boots are GREAT! Very comfortable, and not too bulky. I was hoping to get a waterproof boot that was light enough to easily walk in, and these fit the bill! Also, because they are lace up you can loosen and tighten depending on the pants you are wearing. Well worth the price, which already is reasonable for a boot that will last long and keep you nice and warm in the winter.
I usually wear a size 9, and I ordered a 9 that fits well, although some friends have said they found Sorel's to run a little big--so if anything go down a half size.
These boots are great for Chicago winters--I have a mile walk to work and they save me. The only issue I've found is that my feet sweat a lot in these, which I have never experiences in any other shoe. Maybe when it's colder this won't happen? Either way- I would recommend these to a friend!

So happy with the all black. The black wasn't my first choice, but so glad I ended up with these. They are super cute with skinny black denim and look great under a wider leg pant as well. Worn them on some single digit days with wool socks and was nice and toasty.

A good purchase
I bought these in black after 1) considering several different models and 2) waiting too long and missing out on the herringbone pattern! These fit really well and are definitely waterproof. I live in VT and since I've had the boots we've had an ice storm, snow storm, and rain. Glad I bought them, they were a good purchase. They fit true to size and I don't need heavy socks.
